How is the square footage calculated?
The square footage of a home is based on the heated livable area, outside of frame to outside of frame. Garages, porches, and decks are not included.

Will the plans meet my county's building codes?
Our plans meet the codes for Lancaster County in Nebraska. Since each state, city, county, and subdivision has their own set of codes and regulations that they have determined works best for their area, you will need to take the plans to a local architect or engineer to determine if the plans will meet your local codes.

What is the standard width of a hallway?
Minimum is 36" wide. Standard is 42" wide. Larger homes usually have 48" wide hallways.

What size of doors and hallways are needed for wheelchair accessibility?
36" wide doors and 48" wide hallways
